Our kittens are healthy and happy, raised in a safe and clean environment. At 12 weeks old, they are ready for new homes, having learned independence and social behavior. We emphasize socialization so that they develop affectionate, curious, playful, and gentle personalities.

Before leaving our cattery, each kitten is:

Each kitten is TICA (The International Cat Association) registered as a purebred British shorthair or longhair from certified parents before leaving our cattery. Additionally, you will receive a Kitten Purchase Agreement and a Receipt for your new furry friend.

Optional: Desexing (Neutering/Spaying)

If you wish to have your kitten desexed, the price is $2,800, which includes the cost of the procedure. Please note that the kitten will not be ready for pick-up until at least 14 weeks of age, and up to 16 weeks of age. Most people opt to desex their kitten with their veterinarian of choice in their locale, and wait a few weeks until the kitten is settled into their new home.

How is the Price Determined?

We ensure that our kittens are raised with the utmost care and attention and that their price reflects the quality and effort put into their upbringing. Several factors contribute to the cost:

Breed, Pedigree & Color

The British Shorthair and Longhair cats have distinctive characteristics and are highly desired within the cat fancy. Silver shaded and chinchilla colors are notably rare, resulting in a higher price due to scarcity. Males generally command a premium price compared to females, as they are less frequently born. Our breeding records indicate an average ratio of four females to every one male.

Quality Care

We provide high-quality food and wellness supplements designed to support optimal growth and health for our kittens, as well as ongoing well–being for their parents. Our cats receive a balanced diet featuring freshly prepared organic cooked meats, ensuring they benefit from nutritious, whole foods. Kittens are given routine light grooming and baths when appropriate, while adult cats undergo professional grooming several times annually to maintain hygiene and appearance.

Veterinary Care

Our kittens are provided with routine Veterinary care, vaccinations, microchipping, and comprehensive health screenings to ensure optimal well-being. Health checks for both mother and father cats are vital for maintaining their well-being. Our Veterinarian specializes in felines for ongoing health assurance and appropriate treatment plans. Maintaining the health of our cats and kittens ensures a healthy lineage.

DNA & Lab Testing

We use Wisdom Panel Optimal Selection to conduct genetic DNA screenings for our breeding cats. This comprehensive test checks for more than 45 genetic health conditions. Our breeding cats have tested clear for these conditions, including PKD, ALPS, FeLV, and FIV. We also screen our breeding cats annually with blood tests, and other necessary lab tests needed to monitor their ongoing health.

Socializing & Training

At our cattery, we dedicate substantial time and resources to the socialization and training of our kittens. These practices promote the development of affectionate, gentle, and playful temperaments, preparing them to become excellent companions in new homes. Beyond interactive play, we provide a range of enrichment toys and expose kittens to regular handling and common household sounds. We help our Queens with litter training, introducing solid foods, and the use of scratch posts. We maintain several nursery rooms to ensure optimal care and readiness as our kittens are prepared for their forever families.

Ethical Breeding & Continued Learning

We adhere to ethical breeding practices, prioritizing the health, temperament, and welfare of our cats above financial gain or social media image. Our facility maintains a clean, stimulating environment and avoids over-breeding through responsible protocols. We are a small cattery that nurtures kittens in optimal environments and provides socialization, premium nutrition, and quality veterinary care. We continually learn from respected breeding and veterinary resources, mentors, and our own experience. Our practices are aligned with the breed standards set by TICA, with a strong commitment to advancing the quality of the breed and adherence to established guidelines.

TICA Certified Outstanding Cattery

TICA, The International Cat Association, is the world’s largest genetic registry for purebred and household pet cats, and one of the leading sanctioning bodies for cat shows. We are an active registered Breeder and Member of TICA, and our cattery is a Certified TICA Outstanding Cattery with a perfect score in all categories, evaluated annually by a licensed Veterinarian. This certification validates that the breeder is aware of proper animal husbandry and cattery management techniques. We are annually evaluated in the areas of proper breeding requirements, health, facilities, maintenance, birthing, storage, and records. Additionally, our cattery complies with the TICA Outstanding Cattery, Voluntary Code of Ethics, and maintains good standing.
