THE PRICE

Our kittens are healthy and happy, raised in a safe and clean environment. At 12 weeks old, they are ready for new homes, having learned independence and social behavior. We emphasize socialization so that they develop affectionate, curious, playful, and gentle personalities.

Before leaving our cattery, each kitten is:

Vaccinated

Dewormed

Vet-Checked (At Least Three Times)

Litter-Trained

Scratch Post-Trained

Socialized

Each kitten is TICA (The International Cat Association) registered as a purebred British shorthair or longhair from certified parents before leaving our cattery. Additionally, you will receive a Kitten Purchase Agreement and a Receipt for your new furry friend.

Optional: Desexing (Neutering/Spaying)

If you wish to have your kitten desexed, the price is $2,800, which includes the cost of the procedure. Please note that the kitten will not be ready for pick-up until at least 14 weeks of age, and up to 16 weeks of age. Most people opt to desex their kitten with their veterinarian of choice in their locale, and wait a few weeks until the kitten is settled into their new home.

How is the Price Determined?

We ensure that our kittens are raised with the utmost care and attention and that their price reflects the quality and effort put into their upbringing. Several factors contribute to the cost:

Breed

The British Shorthair and Longhair are known for their distinctive features and desirable traits, influencing their value.

Quality Care

We offer top-notch food and wellness supplements to ensure our kittens grow healthily and their parents stay well-maintained. Our kittens receive regular light grooming, while their parents are professionally groomed several times a year for hygiene and upkeep.

Veterinary Expenses

Our kittens receive regular vet visits, vaccinations, microchipping, and health screenings to ensure they are in excellent condition. The same care extends to their parents, ensuring a healthy lineage.

Healthcare for Parents & Kittens

Regular veterinary care, genetic DNA screenings, and health checks for both mother and father are essential to maintaining the health of our breeding cats and ensuring the well-being of the kittens.

Socialization & Training

We invest a significant amount of time and effort into socializing and training our kittens. This helps them develop sweet, affectionate personalities and ensures they will be loving companions in their new homes.

Ethical Breeding Practices

We follow ethical breeding standards, ensuring responsible breeding and a clean, stimulating environment for our cats and kittens. We continually learn from breeding lessons, mentors, and our own experience. Our Cattery adheres to the TICA Voluntary CODE OF ETHICS and maintains good standing.

TICA Registered Breeder & Member

We are an active registered Breeder and Member of TICA. TICA, or The International Cat Association, is the world’s largest genetic registry for purebred and household pet cats, and one of the leading sanctioning bodies for cat shows.

Legitimacy of Business

BritishEstate Cattery is registered under TICA, and we are a licensed and registered LLC within the state of Nevada.

Factors also include insurance and emergency care expenses.
